Weekly Group Sittings
A weekly group sitting is a formal gathering of old students of Vipassana meditation, those who have completed at least one 10-day Vipassana course as taught by S.N. Goenka and his assistant teachers, when we meet once a week to meditate for 1 hour as we have learned on the course. Weekly group sittings can help us to maintain and strengthen our practice.
Group Sitting Locations:
Missoula, MT ~ Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 p.m. (send us an email for directions)
The weekly group sitting in Missoula is often conducted by a local Teacher of Vipassana Meditation appointed by S. N. Goenka. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about your practice after sitting.

10-day Courses ~ Currently there are no 10-day courses offered in Montana, although we have had 6 courses here from the years 1991-2005. Every month we receive inquiries asking when the next 10-day course in Montana will be. If you are interested in making this happen, we can start to form a planning group to work out all the logistics of organizing a future 10-day course. This will involve finding a suitable site and enough servers to do all of the organizational work.
1-day Courses ~ We are just now establishing annual 1-day courses in Montana. A few servers are needed on every 1-day OSC, and we always need help with setup and cleanup.
Children’s Courses ~ These are currently scheduled every year, so we do need servers for each course. If you would like to help with this, please check the appropriate box in the subscription form above, and do apply when the courses are announced.
Dana ~ Donations will help to pay for future course expenses and will make it possible to offer more courses throughout Montana.
